On 21st June I am planning to walk 40 miles in one day (this year's longest day) along the Gritstone trail in East Cheshire. This will take me from Disley to Alsager passing peaks such as White Nancy and Teggs Nose along the way.

I am doing the walk to raise money for Luke Paddon, a young man at our church who is planning to take a gap year with Operation Mobilisation where he will be serving on board the Doulos Hope for 3-6 months. Doulos Hope is a ship that sails the coasts and estuaries of Asia's great rivers taking the gospel and Christian literature to countries where it is otherwise hard to access.
