As many of you know, I lost my dear dad two and a half years ago and myself and my family are still bewildered how suddenly it happened.

So in memory of dad and I have decided to take on walking the Ridgeway which is 86miles, in two days. I will be walking with some fantastic, encouraging ladies (some of which helped me climb the 3 peaks three years ago).

A fond memory of completing the 3 peaks was walking into my dad’s front room a couple of days later and he said “Here comes my hero”. He looked so proud and so I’m going to hold that memory close when I struggle on this current challenge, in the hope it will help me dig deep and carry on.
