Walking in Memory of the Armenian Genocide

Donation protected
Hi everyone!
My name is Anait Gevorkyan and this year I will be participating in the Survivors walk in remembrance of the Armenian Genocide, a tragedy that happened in 1915 where 1.5 million of my ancestors were tortured and killed. We will be silently walking 15 miles on a California desert trail. This was organized by CYMA, Christian Youth Mission to Armenia, a program that gives youth the opportunity to travel to Armenia and volunteer, learn more about our culture, and grow deeper in our faith. I was able to participate in this program last summer and it was an incredibly memorable and impactful experience. For 4 weeks, we helped teach English to people who were forced out of Artsakh while traveling and visiting some of the oldest monasteries in the world. I made life long friends, experienced what its like to live in our homeland, and truly grew in my faith. Participants for the walk pledge $1000 which will go towards funding the CYMA service project this upcoming summer. It is an amazing program and I would greatly appreciate anything you are able to contribute. Thank you!
