Walking in Faith with Hyun Jung

Hi everyone,

We are writing this for our dear friend, Hyun Jung, who was recently diagnosed with Bile Duct Cancer. If you know Hyun Jung, you know she is a light. She has spent years serving as a leader at church and traveling on mission trips, sharing the Gospel and God’s love with anyone she meets. She’s the one usually taking care of others—and now, she needs us to carry her.

While this news is devastating, Hyun Jung and her husband are facing this with incredible faith. They are preparing for a "war"—physically, mentally, and emotionally—and we want to make sure they aren’t fighting it alone.

The Road Ahead

The month of May is critical. The goal is for her body to respond to chemotherapy so she can become strong enough for surgery. Her schedule is heavy:

• May 4: ERCP Procedure

• May 5: Meeting doctors to finalize the full plan

• May 11: Surgery for her chemo-port

• May 13: Her very first round of Chemotherapy

Why We Need You

Hyun Jung’s husband is doing everything he can, balancing grueling night shifts with being at every appointment in Orange and Irvine. But between medical bills and the cost of daily life during treatment, the financial weight is mounting fast.

We want to lift that burden. We want Hyun Jung to focus entirely on healing, and we want her husband to be able to stay by her side without the constant worry of financial ruin.

치료 일정 (5월)

5월 한 달은 앞으로의 치료 방향을 결정짓는 가장 중요한 시기입니다. 항암 치료가 효과적으로 작용하여 하루빨리 수술을 받을 수 있을 만큼 몸이 강건해지도록 기도가 필요합니다.

• 5월 4일: ERCP 시술

• 5월 5일: 의료진과의 최종 치료 계획 수립

• 5월 11일: 항암 포트(Chemo-port) 삽입 수술

• 5월 13일: 첫 항암 치료 시작
