Walking: From Where We Met To Where We Live

Celebrating our Diamond Wedding Anniversary - 60 years of marriage

Plus ....... I am 82 years old.

I plan to walk from where we met as students in Sheffield in 1961 to where we now live in Stockport - a distance of around 32 miles which will take me 3 days: from Friday 30th May to Sunday 1st June

All of your donations will go to support Forever Friends of Uganda which helps some of the poorest children in the country to receive an education. Our supporters sponsor children from nursery age to university. We have provided school infrastructure including classrooms, teachers' housing, kitchens and water. We are involved in self-sufficiency projects.

Girls education is a priority to level the gender playing field.

Our support for the Little Angels Childrens Home is crucial to give youngsters a secure base and provide a healthy diet and we have started a skills centre to give a meaningful future to girls and young women in the community who cannot gain a formal education.
