Walking for Wingham & Sandwich Wildlife Parks

After receiving the news last week that we are not allowed to open for at least another 4 weeks, this has put a huge financial strain on all zoos, wildlife parks, aquariums and farm parks.  This could mean potentially that we will have been closed for 14 weeks, during 3 of our busiest periods in the year. With weekly running costs of £52,000+,  we need all the help we can get to keep us afloat during this difficult time. We think Markus has done more than his fair share of raising funds and now its our turn.  Myself and some more of the other staff from both parks will be walking from Wingham Wildlife Park to Sandwich Wildlife Park and back again (a distance of 10 miles) in animal themed onesie's on Saturday 27th June. This is to help raise awareness of our plight and to hopefully raise some funds to help go to wards the cost of caring for over 620 animals (not including fish and invertebrates).
