Hi, I'm Sam, I am an Army Veteran and a member of my local British Legion Branch.

I am raising funds for the 2025 Poppy Appeal. I initially wanted to walk 1 mile for every fallen soldier from across ALL conflicts since the year I was born in 1979!! it turned out to be a lot more than i though!

I had to change my thought process, so I'm going to be walking the virtual driving distance of John'oGroats to Lands End which is 874miles!

If I was able bodied I would have walked the the 1111 miles but unfortunately i cant do that, so that amount is the minimum target I am going to raise in £s!!!!

I have 12 months to complete it, I will start on 29th Nov 2024 and finish on Armistice Day 2025!

Due to my disabilities I will be doing short distances throughout the months to reach my target.

I will be logging my progress in an app and will keep everyone updated.

The money raised will be donated to my local RBL Branch to add to the total amount we raise next year!
