Hi All,

Peter suffered terribly as a baby and child and the abuse he could not escape has led to not only a challenging life but a dental disaster!  He cannot smile because he is ashamed of the "teeth tragedy" which has ground away his teeth to gum level. It is a lengthy and expensive task to get him to have teeth. Then he will not be restricted to soft food and will be able to chew without pain.  He is doing this walk because he is uncomfortable receiving “charity” and wants to earn support. His walk is not just a walk, he has an arthritic hip which will make this a painful experience. He is no stranger to pain and has suffered much both emotionally and physically.  Even when he has raised the funds he will  have to go through painful invasive treatment (to go for a clean and polish fills me with dread! I don't want to think about what he will have to endure!). Peter has suffered enough. I will be contributing to this worthwhile cause and hope to be celebrating his toothy grin as soon as possible.
