WALKING FOR REVOLUTION: Norwich to Cromer

Capitalism is in crisis. We've seen increasing poverty, rising rents and prices, wars sparking across the globe, and a looming climate crisis. The world is run for profit by the billionaires and bankers, no matter how many suffer.

What is needed is for the working class to take power into the own hands, and run society for themselves. We can acheive this through revolution.

That's why in May, the British section of the International Marxist Tendency will be refounding itself as the Revolutionary Communist Party. We're at 1,100 comrades in Britain, but we need to build ourselves into a proper Bolshevik organisation with roots in the working class ahead of revolutionary events. We've already started spreading our roots across Britain, from the farmers' strikes in Wales, to the Council crisis in Birmingham, to the fight against the closure of the steel mills in Port Talbot. We want to go further to create a party with the capability to fight for the working class, with branches and cells in every workplace and every university.

For this we need funds. We (naturally) have no wealthy backers so we're entirely member-funded. On top of these, we need donations from members of the public if we're to be the best fighting force for the working class that we can be.

To raise funds, I and some other comrades will be walking for 8 hours from Norwich to the coast on 14th of April.
