I am taking on a 30 mile challenge beginning June 1st in honor of my brother and best friend, who died from cholangiocarcinoma in August 2025. Every day since his passing has been a struggle, and walking has become my way to cope, to remember, and to feel him close. I carry his memory with me on every step and know he is watching over me, guiding me forward.
Sibling loss has changed me in ways I never expected. My brother shaped who I am, and his impact remains a steady presence. I am joining this challenge not only to keep his memory alive, but to support the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation’s mission to find better treatments and, ultimately, a cure. Their work in research, patient resources, and awareness matters deeply to families like mine.
Your support will help fund research, patient programs, and vital resources for those facing this rare cancer. When you give, you stand with me and with everyone affected by cholangiocarcinoma—patients, families, and caregivers—helping turn grief into purpose and hope.
Please consider donating to the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation in my brother’s name. Every contribution honors his life and moves us closer to treatments and answers for future families. Thank you for walking beside me on this journey.
