Walking for Elsie’s Moon – In Memory of Edward
Donation protected
On Saturday 6th July, I’ll be taking part in this year’s Wirral Coastal Walk in support of Elsie’s Moon – a charity incredibly close to my heart.
Elsie’s Moon support families when pregnancy or birth doesn’t follow the plan. Whether it’s loss during pregnancy, stillbirth, or neonatal loss, they offer love, understanding, and practical support through some of the most unimaginable moments a family can face.
On 15th June 2023, our world changed forever when we said goodbye to our beloved son, Edward, who was born sleeping at the Countess of Chester. Since that day, Elsie's Moon have been by our side - supporting us through our grief and helping us navigate a very anxious and difficult pregnancy and postpartum period with our rainbow baby, Rafferty.
Elsie’s Moon is a small, local charity doing truly vital work. I’m walking in memory of Edward, with deep gratitude for all that they have done for us, and to help ensure that they can continue to be there for other local families who find themselves on this heartbreaking path.
If you’re able to, please consider donating. Your support will mean so much – not just to me, but to the many families Elsie’s Moon continue to help every day.
