Walking for Body Autonomy and Respect
I want control of my own body. I am tired of doctors reducing my experience to numbers on a scale and ignoring my voice. That frustration is why I am joining the Planned Parenthood 30-Mile Walk/Run Challenge this November — to stand up for the basic dignity of being seen, heard, and respected in our health care system.
Planned Parenthood fights for access to affordable, compassionate sexual and reproductive health care for everyone, no matter who you are. By walking with them, I am supporting clinics, education, and advocacy that help people get the care they need without judgment. This work means better health outcomes, safer choices, and more control over our lives.
When I walk these miles, I walk for the moments when people were not listened to, and for the future where every person receives care that honors their identity and choices. Your support will help Planned Parenthood provide high-quality care, advance accurate education, and protect the rights that allow bodies and lives to be respected.
Please donate to my fundraiser and join me in taking steps toward body autonomy and compassionate care for all. Your gift will make a real difference.
