Joan has spent her life showing up for others—as a wife, mother, teacher, and friend. Now it's our turn to show up for her.
In early July, Joan was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer, an aggressive form that calls for an aggressive fight. The road ahead is long—chemotherapy, surgery, recovery, and more—stretching well into the coming year. She and her family are walking it with courage and faith, and they don't have to walk it alone.
How you can help
Every act of care matters, and support takes many forms:
- Pray for Joan's healing and strength, for her doctors, and for peace over her whole family.
- Give financial gift to help carry the family through this nearly year-long journey.
- Bring a meal through the Meal Train.
- Lend a hand with errands, encouragement, or simply sharing this page.
However you feel led, know that it means more to Joan, Vicar Tim, and their children—Sam, CJ, Claire, Kate, and Charli—than words can express.
Together, let's wrap our arms around this family and remind them that God walks with Joan through every appointment, every treatment, and every uncertain day.
