I am raising money to benefit Freshfields Animal Rescue by walking the Great Glen Way 79 miles from Fort William- Inverness, your donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
Finn the cat entered our life 6 months ago (that's him in the photo). He was being cared for at Freshfields Animal Rescue for 11 months before we gave him a home (he was the longest resident at the centre).
Before being rescued he was abused, starved and neglected for many years, leaving him scared and wary of human contact.
When we visited him he was visibly depressed and despite being a beautiful cat, people never wanted to take him home because he was an older cat at 6 years old and people wanted kittens or younger cats.
With some patience and lots of love he is like a new cat. He is reclaiming his lost kitten years and loves to chase string! He is still nervous of loud noises however as he knows he is now safe, it doesn't take him long to calm down.
We are forever grateful to Freshfields for looking after Finn for nearly a year. They do incredible work and there are so many animals that need their support to then be rehomed to a loving home.
Please donate what you can
