Walking 60,000 Steps For A Cause

My name is Darrin Underwood from Bend, Oregon. I'm originally from Altadena, California, where my brothers and I would often ride our bikes up to Eaton Canyon to hike and explore when we were kids. 50 years on and I still love hiking, exploring trails and photographing wildlife and beautiful scenery. To mark my upcoming birthday, I will be walking 60k steps in a single day, about 32 miles or so. My route will be a walk from my home in Bend, along paths and trails to Sunriver Oregon, where I will join my wife Beth for lunch. I will then turn around and walk back home to complete the journey. My goal is to raise money to donate to folks that suffered loss during the recent Altadena fires, and to raise funds for causes in Bend, Oregon that maintain our trails & parks, keep them clean, and rehabilitate the wildlife we have the privilege of seeing during our adventures outdoors. I hope you will consider donating. Up to $10k of the funds raised will be matched, which is amazing. I'm hoping to raise that $10k amount or more for a total of $20k to donate.
