Hi, I’m Travis Blackshear,

This fundraiser is truly for my incredible mother, Tammy Blackshear. She truly deserves the world.

My mom raised six kids (yes, SIX!). A widow to my dad, who sadly passed away in 2017, leaving her to carry the full load (oldest 4 including me, dad was never around). She worked every single day, never taking a break, never traveling, never doing/buying anything for herself just to make sure we always had food in our stomachs and a roof over our heads. No vacations, no days off, no adventures. She sacrificed her entire life so we could have stability, love, good education, and a wonderful life.

She’s the strongest person I know. I don’t know how she did it either. She’s the real-life superwoman in my eyes. Now, I want to give back and help her finally rest, feel secure, and maybe even experience some of the things she’s missed out on, like a peaceful home, financial freedom, or just a little breathing room after years of grinding.

To make this happen, I’m doing something big: I will be walking 1,500 miles from our home in Van Buren, Arkansas, all the way to California. No car, no bus, no plane, no train. Just me, my own two legs, a tent, and determination. Along the way, I’ll capture beautiful photos and videos of the journey to share with her (since she’s never gotten to travel), posting daily updates on TikTok @travisblackshear, plus daily lives.

This isn’t just a walk; it’s my way of saying thank you and proving that her sacrifices weren’t for nothing. My goal is $150,000 to truly change her life and give her the security she deserves.

Please help me give my mom what she truly deserves: a lifetime of peace, comfort, and the same joy and love she poured into raising us every single day. She gave everything for us; now it’s my turn to give back. ❤️
