Over the past week I offered to walk local dogs just for the love of it, and the response from the Jesmond community completely blew me away.

So I’ve decided to turn it into something positive.

Over the rest of February, I’ll be walking an accumulative 100km with local dogs, raising money for Newcastle Dog and Cat Shelter (Benton Lane), which does incredible work rescuing and rehoming animals right here in Newcastle.

Anyone is welcome to get involved, whether that’s lending your dog for one of the walks, donating a couple of pounds, or just sharing the page.

Every penny raised will go directly to the shelter via GoFundMe’s verified charity system.
