Family, Friends, Fans and Fellow Musicians, it is with great sadness that I am announcing the passing of Walkin’ Cane Mark [Mark Brehm]. Walkin’ Cane passed away this past Sunday June 21, 2020 at his home in Phoenix Arizona. The family has asked for some privacy during this time as they begin the long and arduous journey of grieving and acceptance.
In light of the current Covid-19 situation there are no short-term plans for an in-person memorial. There may be an opportunity for a virtual memorial and will keep you posted here on the official Walkin’ Cane Mark FaceBook & Fan Page.
Please keep Mark’s entire family in your thoughts and prayers. Keep posting your condolences, memories and stories as his young children grow, they will be able to reflect on his most amazing talents and gift he has given to the world of music.
Working as a musician all of his life planning for the future was not always a priority. Mark has left behind his wife and 5 children. 3 of which are young. Anything we can do to help will go entirely to his family and expenses during this time. Lets show him how much we loved him and his music.
