Support the Future of our Children

With the changing nature of families and communities, and the reality that both parents in many of our community’s families are now employed either on a full-time or part-time basis, the Diocese of California is endeavouring to pursue greater community engagement and the provision of community services.

As such, the St. Zaia Parish of the Assyrian Church of the East, Diocese of California is active in the process of the establishment of a Preschool “Grace Academy” at the site of Mar Zaia Cathedral’s Hall. The anticipated opening date will be in August.

In order to assess the interest of the community in the provision of such a service and its viability, the Parish is seeking assistance in support of this most significant project for the future of both our Church and Nation in the United States of America, known as the “Melting Pot.”

It is worthwhile to make mention of the fact that this Diocese has been seeking and anticipating the establishment of much-needed education institutions and centres. Now is the time to “Walk the Walk” since the talking has been continuing for quite some time now. Now is the time to show indeed, our genuine nationalism and faith, the two pearls which will prepare and present to our children at a young age.
