We are raising money for two charities, The Firefighters charity and Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide (SOBS), in memory of our dear friend and Fire Fighter colleague Colin Speight, who tragically took his own life in December last year. We intend to walk the west highland way in full fire fighting PPE and Breathing Apparatus set over five days. We wish to replicate if we can, Colin's devotion to the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service who he served for over two decades. So we feel that by taking on this challenge, we can hopefully raise awareness and funds to try and help individuals and families affected by suicide.
