Walk with Alix

At NETGEAR we are one big family. We stand by one another, we walk side by side! 

For those of you who have had the pleasure of meeting and working with Alix Burnard, VAR Sales Manager on our UK Team, you will know how much of a team player, hard worker and all-round fantastic person she is. A few months ago, Alix was diagnosed with cancer and true to Alix’s personality she has decided to selflessly raise money for Cancer Charities by walking 150 miles in the month of September. 

In a show of solidarity and support to our beloved Alix, the UK and wider EMEA team will join Alix in the challenge and will walk 150 miles with her in September and try to raise some funds along the way. 

In a few short weeks, Alix has already overachieved her fundraising target (598% at last count!!) which is amazing! We know that many of you have already contributed.

As Alix has an unchartered and difficult journey ahead of her, we’d also like to raise some funds to go directly towards supporting Alix’s personal ongoing care needs whatever they may be - something to help make her journey a little more comfortable. To that end, we have set up a NETGEAR Walk with Alix fundraising page, see link below, for anyone who would like to donate. 

We welcome you all to join us in any way that you feel comfortable. If you’d like to take part in the NETGEAR Walking with Alix challenge, you can register by clicking the link to the Survey Monkey and inputting your name and country or simply reply in the comments below. We’ll then add you to a tracker where you can input your miles/kms on a weekly basis.
