Hello, we are the Doves. We are walking the 5k accessible walk on the 6th September to raise funds for The Dame Vera Lynn Charity and Lillyanna Dove.

Lillyanna was born in December 2018 and has been a force of nature since. Despite her disabilities (Mitochondrial Disease, Bulbar Palsy, Intellectual Disability, Autism, Hypotonia) she has continually fought to get to where she is today.

With the thanks of Dame Vera Lynn Charity, in 2024, Lillyanna had 18 funded sessions to their physiotherapist who has helped her achieve standing independently! We couldn't be more grateful!

We are raising funds, 50% will go to DVLC to allow them to continue to help other children, like Lillyanna, become independent. The other 50%, will go directly to Lillyanna, to help fund more physiotherapy sessions as unfortunately, she is now unable to attend DVLC due to her age.
