Dear GGS & OSL Family, Friends, and Donors,

On behalf of the Let Me Play Foundation, GGS, and OSL would like to introduce the first edition of “Walk of Champions: A Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience,” where 22 lucky children will have the opportunity to escort MLS players out of the tunnel for the match between Orlando City SC and Atlanta United FC.

At GGS and OSL, we see firsthand how sports can transform lives. For many of the kids in our programs, the soccer field is more than a place to play—it’s a place where they build confidence, form lifelong friendships, and learn the values of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. We are committed to breaking down barriers so every child, regardless of their circumstances, can experience these benefits. The “Walk of Champions” fundraising event will help us provide continuous support for all our programs.

HOW YOUR SUPPORT WILL BE USED?

Directly Fund Scholarships: Your contributions will go directly toward scholarships enabling low-income children to participate in our programs.
Purchase Equipment and Gear: We will equip our athletes with the tools to train safely and effectively, ensuring that no child is left without the necessary resources.
Upgrade and Maintain Fields: Contributions will help us provide safe and high-quality spaces for training and games, which is crucial for a positive sports experience.
Educate Coaches: Funds will also support ongoing education for our coaching staff, helping them to deliver the best training and mentorship to our young athletes.

WALK OF CHAMPIONS: CONTEST DETAILS

Of the 22 available spots, six (6) will be hosted and selected by our fantastic sponsors and partners: VMG Construction Inc., Authentic Soccer, AJ Flooring, Harmony Dental, Boi Brasil, and SAI Academy. Each sponsor and partner will run its contest; more information will be provided in the next 1-2 weeks. The remaining 16 spots will be awarded to those who raise the most money for the Let Me Play Foundation. How will this contest work? Check it out:

CONTEST RULES:

Contestants must be current members of GGS or OSL and be born between 2019 and 2013. All boys and girls are welcome to participate. Please note that every winner will receive TWO (2) tickets for the game. The winner’s family may purchase additional tickets for $25 each.

CONTESTANTS:

Parents/Families donate money to the foundation on a contestant’s behalf using the link and QR code below. The more money donated, the higher the contestant moves up in the list.
When donating, donors must add a comment (no comment = no entry)
Donor must write the first and last name of the contestant you are donating on behalf of and any additional words of support
Winners will be announced on October 15, 2024
