Walk Miles for Michael
Donation protected
This April, we received the heartbreaking news that my 6-year old cousin, Michael, had been rushed to Temple Street hospital, where emergency surgery to remove a brain tumour had to be arranged. His journey has since continued to Essen in Germany, where he is receiving proton therapy and chemotherapy, stretching into 2023.
Michael is a shining light, who could brighten up any room with his infectious smile and good humour. He is the most positive, energetic and happy little boy, who never fails to make others laugh. He has been through so much over the past few months but has stayed so strong through everything. A true warrior.
The Gavin Glynn foundation has supported Michael, his mam and dad on each step of this journey. This has included looking after every aspect of their travel and accommodation, providing them with contacts and creating a memorable day for Michael in the airport.
On July 30th, myself and others will be completing a 25km hike in the Dublin mountains to raise money on behalf of the incredible Gavin Glynn foundation. We hope these funds can help the foundation to continue providing amazing support to brave kids like Michael, giving them the opportunity to live a happy and fulfilling life.
Any donations to help support this important charity would be greatly appreciated.
