Walk In Faith
Donation protected
My name is Sabrina Davis-Hayes. My husband, Pastor Richard Hayes, and I want to extend an invitation for your church to partner with our church WalkNFaith. This is an initiative that we created to unite with churches and community health organizations throughout the St. Louis City and County area as a means to take back our communities affected by the Opioid Epidemic. First, I want to digress and tell you a little about myself. I'm a licensed ministerial staff member, as well, as a Registered Nurse whose been practicing for over 16 years in the field of mental health/substance abuse treatment. I'm currently pursuing my Doctorate as a Nurse Practitioner to aide in the treatment of those suffering from substance abuse addiction. My church is located within the St. Louis County area. It's heavily plagued with people affected by heroin, cocaine, and ETOH abuse. My church is sponsoring a walk each month to inform the community and assist family members to "talk about it" to prevent mortality and treat those who are suffering from mental illness and substance abuse. We understand that those suffering from this crisis are bound both spiritually and physically. So, that’s why we’ve extended an invitation to multiple health clinics throughout St. Louis City to have a representative available with literature regarding Free Substance Abuse programs. We’re committed to walking each month in a park located within St. Louis City and St. Louis County area until we’ve raised enough money to sustain our Community Initiative program that will fund free substance abuse and mental illness treatment. Also, we want to assist those in job placement and offer free Restorative Dental Services. This initiative is about showing God’s love to those suffering spiritually and physically and with your support we can work together to change not only lives but to save souls for Jesus Christ.
