Walk for Ukraine. Snowdon X3 in 24 hours - Firekit and BA.
Donation protected
Thanks for visiting my page. Iam setting myself a challenge to summit Mt Snowdon 3 times in 24 hours in firekit wearing breathing apparatus on my back. The distance in total is approx 25 miles with a steep climb on The Miners track. This includes 3 decents back down to the start point.
I am doing this to raise funds for the Charity organization in Ukraine "City of Goodness"
It's the biggest shelter in Ukraine for children, mothers, elderly women and dogs. They have experienced different challenging life circumstances such as domestic violence, loss of parents or/and homes, difficult health conditions and the consequences of the war.
More information about the City of Goodness you can find here:
I'll be transferring all donations to a Ukrainian mum (Iryna Garkusha) who has lived in Frodsham for the past few years with her family. She still has family and friends in Ukraine and she would like to raise money to help as many people out as possible.
A few words from Iryna
“When my family moved to Frodsham in 2022, running away from the war, we all found ourselves safe here. I’ll always be very grateful to everyone for your help and support, and for giving us so much love. As a mum and a children’s writer, I feel a responsibility to help children who are suffering from the war in Ukraine. I’m asking you to support Ben’s initiative to gather funds for Ukrainian children as I have a strong belief that kindness always makes darkness lighter”.
Thanks for your support. Ben/Iryna.
