6th June 2026, we’re coming together to walk in solidarity for the Kachin people—families who have been displaced by conflict along the China–Burma border and are facing an ongoing humanitarian crisis.
The Crisis
As we approach the 15th anniversary on 9 June 2026, over 110,000 Kachin people—nearly 1 in 10 of the population—remain internally displaced.
Over 400 villages across 24 townships have been destroyed
Families have lost their homes, livelihoods, and loved ones
Ongoing airstrikes and violence continue to force people to flee
For more than a decade, these communities have lived in fear and uncertainty. Many are surviving in makeshift camps with little access to food, clean water, or healthcare.
Why This Matters? The situation is critical:
- Severe shortages of food and medical care
- Rising risk of disease and malnutrition
- Increasing cases of human trafficking, especially affecting women and children
Without urgent support, thousands of lives remain at risk.
How Your Donation Helps
Every contribution—big or small—makes a direct impact:
