Save the date - 1st August 2026

For some time now we've wanted to do something small to not only raise some much needed funds for Waterford Hospice and Eíst Carlow but to also reflect our gratitude to both services.

Both of these wonderful organisations went above and beyond in terms of looking after Andrea during her sickness and its hugely important that their services continue to provide the same level of care to other people in Carlow and the South East if & when its needed.

Andrea was a huge supporter of the Action Breast Cancer initiative and along with her Centra team they organised many successful fundraising walks in Ballon over the years. It seems fitting to try to continue in the same path but to also do something a little bit unique just for her.

The plan is simple. Meet at Zerafas Centra Ballon, we'll have a supervised & safe 5km Family Friendly Walk/Run around the area and loop back to the shop for refreshments afterwards.

Contributions can be made here or we'll be collecting cash on the day if that suits better.
