My name is James 'Jimmy' Lemon, I am a keen lure angler in both fresh and saltwater,
and run a small guided fishing operation from the village of Dale, Pembrokeshire.
Together with a Dutch angling friend, Guido Merlijn, we are entered in to
the World Predator Classic, in Holland, 22-27th June 2020, entering the
FIRST angling team representing Wales to enter the tournament in it's history.
The team is entered as a Welsh Team (see boat 18):
The WPC is the most international lure angling event in Europe, for WPC2020 18+ countries,
65 boats, and takes place from Hellevoetsluis, Holland over 5 days in June each year.
It is a catch & release lure tournament, attracting the best anglers in Europe, targeting Zander,
Perch & Pike. The prize fund exceeds £70,000 and there is a team place on the European Team
heading to America for the Ryder cup style Angling Supercup… so there is a lot to fish for...
This is where dreams could become reality.

There is zero funding for foreign sports tours, its up to the teams / individuals to raise the required
finance themselves from multiple sources, including brand sponsorship & funding projects.
So, please, if you can help, however small, please support TEAMWALES#1.
So, we need a bit of help from our friends on our social platforms, just to help pay for the last of what is a huge bill...
I have personally raised £3000 to cover the entry, competition boat hire, travel, insurances, and accommodation... but we need a bit of help to finish the project...
1) Bespoke Wales Team clothing (£350) - currently being designed in Poland
2) Competition Fuel & Marina Fees (£400)
3) Specific Predator tackle (lures, reels) £450
So, we are so nearly there...and if you can help that would be fantastic...and we'll keep you posted on our progress in Holland through facebook & insta… & of course BT Sport....
