Hey guys, We woke up today August 16th to our little guy Waldo having no use of his back legs and in a great deal of pain. We took him to the Animal Emergency Room and it looks like it may be IVDD which is what affects a dachshunds spine. The MRI alone to pinpoint this is looking at an average of $5000 alone and not factoring the surgery needed to correct it. Waldo is my everything. I need help. I honestly don't know what else to do at this point and this is going to financially cripple me. If there is anyway you can help I would greatly appreciate it. He is in the vets care now and I will provide any invoices needed once the MRI is finished to show what the costs are actually going to be. If you have ever met him, you would know how much of a sweetheart he is and if you have ever met me, you understand how important he really is to me, and the lengths I would go to ensure his care.
