Hi, my wife and I who are both based in the UK are helping Walaa, her husband and 2 young children flee from Gaza.

Walaa’s family lost their family home several weeks ago amidst the war in Palestine. Since then, they have been sheltering in different locations in order to keep their family safe and alive.

I have personally known Walaa for several years as she has been a remote freelance employee based in Palestine.

Since the last two months and ongoing war in Palestine, I have asked Walaa several times if she needs any financial support but she has refused on every occasion. However, now her and her family find themselves with no option but to flee Gaza due to a life or death situation they’re facing, however they’re having to pay extortionate fees for leaving Gaza - Fees which neither her or her family have.
