My name is Walaa, and I am a software engineer living in Gaza, Palestine. I was studying at the university, striving to build a better future for myself and my family. However, our lives have been turned upside down by the ongoing conflict that has ravaged our homeland since October 2023.

The war has brought destruction to every corner of our city. My university, where I dreamed of gaining knowledge and skills to contribute to society, now lies in ruins. My home, my neighborhood, everything I once knew has been shattered by violence and conflict.

In addition to the physical destruction, the war has also robbed us of our basic necessities. With no electricity and internet, I am unable to continue my studies or work as a software engineer. The scarcity of food and skyrocketing prices imposed by the occupation forces have made it nearly impossible to afford even the most essential items.

Despite these immense challenges, I refuse to lose hope. I am determined to continue my education and pursue my dreams, but I cannot do it alone. I am reaching out to you, my friends, my fellow humans, for support. Your generosity can make a world of difference for me and my family, helping us to withstand these difficult times and keep fighting for a brighter future.
