WAKO Kickboxing Championships - Portugal 2023

Hi Everyone,

My name is Owen Scully, I've been training in kickboxing for 10 years now with Bushido Martial Arts (BMA) first in Enfield and now in Leixlip.

I have now become a national champion after winning at the Kickboxing Ireland championships and I now receive a place on the Irish senior kickboxing team, where I will be travelling to the WAKO European kickboxing championships in Albufeira Portugal in November later on this year.

As of now, kickboxing in Ireland is currently not funded by the government, which results in me having to cover the costs of this trip and the required uniform and equipment by myself, in total the trip costs from €1,200 - €1,500.

Any sponsorships or donations, big or small would be greatly appreciated as any money received takes a huge amount of financial pressure off me and my family and allows me to have as much focus as possible on representing Ireland on the international stage.
