Let us wake up and take action for Gaza. The genocide and brutal carnage of men, women and children in Gaza is unravelling in full view.
Aid, including food, water and medical aid, is cut off from North Gaza and throughout much of Gaza:
We are connected with 4 families in Gaza. These families need food, water and particularly warm blankets and clothes as winter comes. Providing direct support to these families is critical now that aid is being cut off. It also offers a way to show a small handful of Palestinians that the world has not forgotten them and to share some humanism and love.
We are a group of neighbors in South Riverdale who will send the money direct to these families via paypal.
Everything in Gaza is extremely expensive because of the lack of aid and trade. A can of beans costs 12 euros in North Gaza. It costs approximately 150 euros to purchase warm winter clothing for a child.
Below are some images from one of the families in North Gaza. The main contact in the family is Mahmoud and he currently volunteers at Al-Shifa hospital in the North. These children received some money from us to buy clothing. Their father was killed in the genocide.
