My name is Kaylee Jade Warfield, and I'm a director & writer from Atlanta. Ever since I wrote my senior thesis, a one-woman show titled "WAKE UP: A Stream Of Consciousness" in 2019, I knew I wanted to adapt it for the screen. It took a pandemic and some change to finally develop the right structure for this, but sometimes you can't rush the process. Much like the stage play, this film tells a thought-provoking story about the struggle to balance one's aspirations and the demands of everyday life. What makes this version so much more compelling are the visual elements and special effects that will elevate the viewer's experience. Through our protagonist's journey, we explore the complex themes of ambition, sacrifice, and the search for personal fulfillment. With unique characteristics and striking visuals, our film encourages viewers to reflect on their own experiences and paths to realizing their dreams. This story is for all of us: artists fighting their anxieties, twenty-somethings searching for the meaning of life, and Atlantians looking for free parking.
