Hi, my name is Andre dos Santos Aires, and I’m fundraising on behalf of my cousin Rafael Felix dos Santos, who recently suffered a severe stroke and is now in a coma in the Philippines.

Rafael and I grew up together, and he is like a brother to me. We share many memories, and it’s heartbreaking to see him in such a critical condition.

Rafael only survived the initial stroke because his wife who works in the medical field was by his side and recognized the signs quickly enough to get him immediate care. He’s currently in the ICU, and his condition is critical.

The medical bills are rising fast, and the financial burden is overwhelming for his family. Hospital stays, medications, scans, and round-the-clock care in the Philippines are expensive. Rafael’s wife is doing everything she can, but they need help.

It’s hard not being able to do anything and feeling so powerless in this situation, being 8,000 miles away. This is the best way I can help him from so far.
