Hi everyone,

I never thought I would be in a position where I’d have to ask for help like this, but after exhausting every option, I’m turning to my community—because right now, I truly need it.

For the past several months, the restaurant I’ve dedicated so much of my time, energy, and heart to has been shut down. Since then, I’ve been doing everything I possibly can to help get it back open—working closely with the county, forestry, and contractors, showing up whenever I’m needed, and doing whatever work I can pick up along the way.

It’s been a long and uncertain waiting game.

I’ve taken on any hours I can find, working as hard as possible just to stay afloat, but despite my efforts, bills have continued to pile up. I’ve reached out for assistance everywhere I could think of, but unfortunately, I don’t qualify for any available programs. This has brought me here—something I didn’t want to do, but feel I have no choice left.

This restaurant means so much more to me than just a job. It’s something I truly believe in, something I’ve poured myself into, and something I’m committed to seeing through. I’m doing everything in my power to stay loyal, to keep pushing forward, and to be there when the doors finally reopen.
