Waiting for Small Intestinal Transplant

On November 17, 2022, while 32 weeks pregnant, Kelly lost the entirety of her small intestine and half of her large intestine due to a blood clot in the vena cava, which also resulted in the loss of her baby. Still today, she is pushing and fighting to get on the national transplant waiting list, to receive a small intestinal transplant to go back to living a normal, healthy life with her husband, Daniel. Kelly lives in a small town called Modesto in Central Valley. I no longer can work until after transplant and I no longer receive disability benefits.
