This story is about a Mother’s heart
A testimony being written as of this very moment…

Do you remember your moment when you had your first child? The countdown until giving birth?
The preparation for the outfits and the diapers…

How about the moment when you first hold your baby, the first time you feed your baby, and patiently waiting for that burp…

She was excited for that. The monthly celebration, the milestones, all those moments, slowly passing by, without our baby in her hands…

She’s lying on that hospital bed for 3 months now…
Waiting for the breakthrough.

It exhausted our resources, our finances, our energy. But we still have our hope. ❤️

I am posting this as a husband and as a father, willing to do everything just for My wife and our son to be together again. This campaign is for her.

Colleen gave birth to our first born child last November 2023, a month after that she was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disorder called Myasthenia Gravis.

She was hospitalized last February 2024 and up until now she’s staying in the ICU.

Everything happened so quick and we were caught off guard. Her condition progressed quickly and our medical bills piled up as well.

With no health insurance and limited support available in our country (Philippines), dealing with this situation is really a challenge.

Her first medication (IVIG) didn’t worked on her, later we found out that the antibody which caused her weakness is a rare form of this already rare disorder.

Now she’s taking another medication which is a form of Chemo drug.

It has been a long journey , But we continued to fight. God sustained us throughout this season. Blessings came in and covered the costly medications.

Right now all that we have left is our Hallelujahs, and for that we know we have the advantage.

We have seen how God took down giants in front of us throughout this season.

Our only option is Him, and for that we know we are actually winning.

We lay it all down at His feet.

The impossibilities we are facing, the medical reports, the hospital bills, the future… We give it all to Him.

When we cant barely lift our hands, my wife and I choose to praise.

When sorrow demanded for our tears, we refuse give in, instead we allowed our tears to flow only for joy.

When fear and anxiety is tempting, we fled from it, instead we run to thanksgiving.

It was God’s love and goodness that brought us to our knees. Not this burden that we are facing.

This piece of bread right here is the reason why I can still stand after all the tears I cried on that hospital parking lot. It reminded me of the victory that we already have. Even though we are still here in the hospital.

Yes we are in the middle, but we know God is with us.

We have seen people come and go from the Hospital, it has been three months already since She last embraced our son in her hands. But we haven’t lost our hope.

I know God can use anyone, I believe He will touch the hearts of people.

Majority of the the fund that we’ll raise is to cover our hospital bills

Currently the hospital needs $40,000 just for the payment for the equipment rentals, ventilator, daily consumables, ICU Room rates.

Her medicines including the IVIG and Retuximab, Antibiotics amounted to almost $15,000

She underwent tracheotomy which costs roughly $3,000

Last march here left lung collapsed and needed bronchoscopy l, the procedure costs $900 she has to be transported to a different hospital because there were no equipments on the current hospital we are in.

Therapies for her to be able to walk again is still in progress and we don’t know the total cost for that yet.

The fees for the Doctors as well are yet to be finalized but the billing department gave us an idea that it could reach around $30,000 for the Neurologist, Pulmonologist, Cardiologist, Infectious Disease Expert, Surgeon, Anesthesiologist, Physical Therapy Specialist, and the Oncologist who administers the Retuximab.

It came in like a flood. On the span of three months, we’ve been tossed around by this storm. But i will hold on for her, for our son. She will see him again and I’m going to do whatever it takes.

We have seen God moved through out this journey. I know that He who began a good work is faithful to complete it.

There is a purpose for everything.
Nothing happens by accident. Even you reading this right now…

I know we are still in the middle of this situation, but I know one day we’re gonna testify.

We will continue to pray, and praise our way through this storm.

She will live. She will testify.

You will be home soon with us my Love. ❤️
