In February of 2017, after many doctors appointments, we were told that David would not be able to have biologically related children. That spring, we decided to use donor sperm to try to conceive our first child and after two failed cycles, we became pregnant on our third try. Oliver was born March 2018.
This spring we decided to try again for a second child. We had saved up money and we felt so confident we would conceive quickly because we had worked out the right medicine and timing protocol during our time conceiving Ollie. Unfortunately, this was not the case. We have had three failed cycles and one cycle which resulted in a chemical pregnancy (very early miscarriage).
After countless doctors appointments, blood draws, pills, shots, four IUIs, and $5,000 in donor sperm we are out of savings but full of hope. A donation would allow us another try at completing our family. Thank you for considering helping us ❤️.
