My family and I have just suffered from an extremely unfortunate event of a house fire. My better half Lashonte, my daughter Leia and myself are all safe and healthy which is more important than any material items lost. Our entire front room, kitchen and dining area was burned and nothing is salvageable from those spaces. Our bedrooms have massive smoke damage and we are still figuring out what we can save and what we will have to toss. Our main concern is raising money to make sure our daughter , Leia (4) has everything she needs ( clothes, bedding, school supplies ) so she doesn’t not skip a beat with her happiness and progress with her education. This post is hard for us because we are prideful people and are usually the ones willing to help anyway we can. But with a situation like this, we have to swallow our pride and ask for help from our community. Any amount donate will be massively appreciated and that can not be understated.
