Assalamualaikum,

I am raising funds as Sadaqah Jariyah in memory of my dear uncle/Mahmu Waheed who recently returned to Allah. He was a man known for his generosity, loving and cheerful character. He was always known for helping out doing from doing small things like feeding stray cats to being there for his family in times of need. His sudden passing has left a deep emptiness in our family, but we hope to honour his life by continuing the good he always wished to see in the world.

This Sadaqah Jariyah will support causes that continue to benefit people for years to come, InshaAllah; including providing clean water through wells in harsh and deprived regions, helping the poor, and contributing towards aid efforts in countries of turmoil. Every donation, no matter how small, becomes a source of continuous reward for him.

The Prophet ﷺ said: “The most beloved people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to others.” We pray that my uncle’s kindness to people, to animals, and to anyone in need becomes a continuous source of reward and mercy for him.

May Allah accept every good deed he did, forgive him, honour him, and grant him the highest ranks of Jannah. Ameen.

All money raised will be donated to Human Appeal to build water wells in Pakistan’s most rural desert areas (such as Sindh), providing entire communities with water for drinking, bathing, cleaning, farming, and cooking. Additional sadaqah will be distributed across several global appeals to support those in urgent need.
