Waguespack Family Flood Relief

My name is April Waguespack. My family and I live in Prairieville, LA and were recently effected by the major flooding in Louisiana. We are thankfully all physically safe and unharmed by the event but my husband, Jacob Waguespack is a disabled veteran and unable to do a lot of things that will be required as we move forward. We have been displaced out of our home as repairs are being made and are currently living with Jacobs parents for the time being. We have 3 children, a 7 year old boy named AJ, a 5 year old girl named Rayne, and a 2 year old girl named Rylee. Now that damages to the kids school is almost repaired, the kids will be starting back up in school soon. This will mean that unless we find temporary housing closer to home, we will have to commute an hour or more each way 2 times a day to bring the kids to school. Know that any funds raised here will be used to help with temporary housing as well as food and clothing to last us until we are able to complete our insurance claim. With so many effected, there is no telling when insurance will be taken care of. We have lost a lot, but we have ourselves and that is what matters.
