Waggish Camden Fringe 2025

We are Waggish Theatre! Our company consists of 3 members in Ashley Snoding, Laura Dowsett and Johnny Jay. We Graduated last year from East 15, out of the BA Acting & Physical Theatre course. We made our show 'All Over The Shop' Last year and was lucky enough to perform it 4 times at the Clifftown Theatre. We are now looking to take our show to the Etcetera Theatre, in the heartbeat of Camden!

Our show is about...One corner shop. Three idiotic siblings. Zero revenue.

Our shop, 'Buy the Way' stands defiantly on the high street. Run by clueless but loyal siblings Dave, Darren and Leslie in honour of their late mum, the shop is on its last legs.

Enter Ivanka and Tania — two suspiciously familiar-looking Russian sisters — offering a large sum for the business. But what happens when the siblings say no? When push comes to shove? And why do these Russians look so much like Darren and Dave?

Beneath the madness lies a story about family loyalty, heritage, and the absurd reality of small businesses being swallowed by big corporations. A comedic twist on the cost of living crisis with pun-packed dialogue, cartoon logic, and universal humour that’ll leave you wanting to open your own failing business just to get another taste.
