I’m creating this fundraiser for two of my dear friends, Nicole and Gui, and their incredibly sweet dog, Zoe.

On May 1st, just one day after her 5th birthday, Zoe was diagnosed with lymphoma, an aggressive and ultimately terminal form of cancer. The news was devastating. But with chemotherapy, there’s hope to give Zoe more time — time filled with tail wags, cuddles, walks, and all the love she so generously gives.

Zoe is a Vizsla with a heart as big as her energy. Since Nicole and Gui brought her home two years ago, she’s been the heart of their household. If you’ve ever met Zoe, you’ve probably felt her love in the form of sloppy kisses, goofy zoomies, or her signature move: gently walking through your legs, even if you’re a stranger. She’s a bright, loving soul who brings daily joy not only to her people but also to her dog sibling, Denali.

Zoe has been undergoing chemo since May to help keep her comfortable and to maintain her quality of life. While chemo won’t cure her, it’s helping her stay her happy, affectionate self. Unfortunately, the cost of treatment is becoming overwhelming, and Nicole and Gui are hoping to raise $10,000 (or more) to help with her medical care.

If you’re able to contribute, every single dollar will go directly toward Zoe’s treatment. And if Zoe’s time ends sooner than we all hope, any remaining funds will be donated to the Humane Society in her honor.
