Josh Wadlington, part owner of TW Lumber of Cadiz, KY, was killed in a work accident on March 15th, 2021. Josh was a father of four children and lost his life in front of two of his young sons, who will forever be scarred from the accident.
Josh's wife, Ireland, has been left to care for their young children alone and while money has been raised to help the family take care of some of their expenses associated with the funeral, part of the business was her husband's and they're still trying to care for the family. Their grandfather, Tim, is trying to find ways to continue running the business without the help of his son as he works to care for their family.
I, Derek Guyer, the owner of Kentucky Lumber, am working together with other business owners in the area, to help these fellow woodworkers and Josh's family as they fight to overcome in this difficult time.
Tim had just ordered a wood stove to be used to heat the wood drying kiln at their business and we would like to help him keep his business moving through this hard time.
All donations made will go to help with the cost of the kiln and to help Josh and Ireland's young family.
Josh Wadlington was an artist and craftsman in the wood working trade. His ability to capture the uniqueness of each type of wood was well known across central Kentucky. Better yet was his work as a man of God to love and nurture his children with his wife. They were incredible examples in the community and we are honored to be able to help them at this time. Thank you for your help!
