Wade’s heart ❤️

Wade was taken by ambulance to the Roseau ER on Friday (October 29th) afternoon. He has testing done in Roseau where they concluded he had a tear in his Aorta. At that point, they decided to to air flight him to The University of Minnesota - Fairview. Friday evening Wade underwent open heart surgery. Throughout the night things didn’t go so well. He coded. They did CPR and revived him in less than 2 minutes. After this, they had to re open him and left his chest open until the next evening.

His first visitor (1 person per day) was Bailee.

Wade has had a few set backs, including a couple strokes, which are hindering a normal recovery. He has become unresponsive. The Neuro, Vascular, and Cardiac teams are meeting now to determine a course of action and decide if he is strong enough for a potential operation to relieve pressure on his spinal chord which will allow blood flow to his brain.

Wade is in a very critical state right now. We are asking for prayer above all, as far financial help for him and his family, if anyone feels lead to give.

Even beyond where he is now, surgeons believe he will need further surgeries in the near future. He will be unable to work for a substantial amount of time. Aside from medical bills, he has a family to provide for.
