Hello Friends,

Just before Christmas Wade went to the doctors to get a routine colonoscopy and, unfortunately, received a devasting diagnosis.  He was diagnosed with Rectal Cancer:(

Although Wade tried to convince everyone that it 'was no big deal', like the humble guy he is, it turns out that it is a VERY BIG DEAL! Wade had to have emergency surgery to have a colostomy bag inserted into his abdomen wall as the tumors proved to be too big for his rectum to function normally. (Wade was discharged after a few days only to have to go back into the hospital after complications with how his body was reacting to the colostomy bag. )  So, because the tumors are so big, Wade will have to undergo chemotherapy and radiation to shrink the tumors so he can have them surgically removed.  The whole process, from cancer treatment to recovering from surgery, is going to take approximately 6 months. 

Wade has been off work since his diagnosis in December. We all know Wade to be an extremely hard working man but being off work has found Wade in a bit of a predicament although he would never admit it!  Wade is going to need our help as he will not be able to work for at least 6 months during his chemo treatments, which start next week, then after that with the surgery then recovery. Obviously, the sooner we can help support Wade the better! 


We all know Wade as a kind warm gentle man that would give you the shirt off his back.  It would be nice if we can all help out so Wade won't have to worry about rent, bills, transportation to and from the cancer center(his vehicle recently broke down), costly medicine, ongoing medical supplies, food and vitamins, etc. and he can focus on getting back to the happy healthy fun loving guy we all know Wade to be.

So, Friends, if we can all help out Wade at this time I know he would appreciate it so much.  We all know       A LITTLE CAN GO A LONG WAY!!
