On October 15th Wade was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident when he was struck from behind by a vehicle.
Wade sustained serious injuries which caused some bleeding around his brain, a broken bone in his upper right arm, a grade 4 liver laceration, and his right leg was also seriously injured. To try to save his leg a vein was grafted from his left leg to get blood flow to his foot, but the doctor didn't give much hope for keeping his leg. A lot of people were praying and 5 days after the accident he was told they wouldn't need to amputate his leg!
Wade is still in the hospital and had 6 surgeries in the first week and more since then. His medical bills are projected to be much higher than insurance will cover, and he will be off work for a long time.
