Hello all. We have started this fund to cover the funeral expenses for Wade Freeman and also to give some support to his children in the form of savings accounts for them to access as they grow up. Financially, this is not something we, as his family, had prepared for. We expected Wade to live until 120!

Tragically, we lost a brother, a son, a father and a friend this past Tuesday, August 15th. He was involved in a fatal motorcycle accident in downtown Grand Rapids, MI. Several people were injured in the crash but Wade's injuries were too severe and neither the paramedics nor hospital staff were able to bring our boy back to us.

Wade had previously expressed his desire to have a traditional funeral as opposed to being cremated. The estimated cost of Wade's funeral will be about $12,000. Being that Wade was so young, he didn't have his wishes written down, so we are trying our best to do what we think he would have wanted. That being said, any support whether it be a donation or simply sharing this is very much appreciated.

Those of you that had the pleasure to have known Wade are aware of how amazing of a person he is. He is one of the most empathetic, caring, energetic and beautiful souls I've ever known. He was part of numerous car and motorcycle communities where he was able to make connections and explore his love of vehicles of all kinds. Wade had the type of personality that drew in everyone he met- outside of the family he was born into, he created his own family full of people who also loved him. I could go on for days with all the things I have to say about my baby brother, but I will spare you all.

Wade is leaving behind two beautiful daughters and a son on the way. He may not be with us physically but he will live on through the lives of his children as well as in the hearts and memories of all that knew him.
